Feel-Good Podcasts

About a year ago, I started listening to podcasts on my commute to and from work. We live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and I have a 20 minute commute on the Subway to and from work. For the longest time I listened to music and scrolled through Instagram, but one day, something clicked and I thought, why am I not doing something more productive with this time? While there are many different genres of Podcasts (and I’m aware majority of people listen to crime shows!), I spend 75% of my podcast time on series that help my mental health, overall happiness, and continue to teach me new things. After listening to any of the below podcasts, I feel inspired and ready to take on the day. And I always start my Monday mornings with Oprah, because she’s the ultimate hype girl.

Expanded

The Expanded Podcast created by To Be Magnetic is the go-to podcast for grounded manifestation. Tune in weekly for deep dives into the process, powerful manifestation stories, and interviews with industry experts and expanders who will help you “see to believe” what’s possible. Explained 101 is a great episode to get you started. Here, Lacy and Jessica get back to basics on what manifestation is, and some of the specifics of Lacy’s grounded process, To Be Magnetic.

Naked with Catt Salder

I’ve loved Catt Sadler ever since watching her on E News as a teenager. However, she recently quit her gig due to a major discrepancy in gender pay equality - talk about a badass! NAKED features real conversations with some of the most captivating women from entertainment, business, health, wellness and more — straight from Catt’s bedroom. This laid back vibe, mixed with serious girl bosses is sure to teach and inspire you.

The Goop Podcast

If you’re unfamiliar with Goop, I suggest you start by checking out their website or watching The Goop Lab on Netflix. But I especially love their podcast where Gwyneth Paltrow and Elise Loehnen chat with leading thinkers, culture changers, and industry disruptors about shifting old paradigms and starting new conversations. Episodes include topics such as How to use Time in your Favor, Why Less is More, Owning our Awkwardness and more!
