Mykonos, Greece

We arrived in Mykonos by ferry and immediately checked into our hotel, the Mykonos Blu. This boutique hotel is exactly what you’d expect — everything was blue and white. We especially liked our stay here as they upgraded us to a room with a private dipping pool overlooking the Sea. One thing to point out is that the Mykonos Blu is located on the same beach as a very popular day club, Nammos, which means you'll be hearing a lot of club music during the day. This could be a positive or negative depending on your vibe. That being said, it was a great place to stay and we loved how it was located on a beautiful beach, with a great free breakfast and close to town.

We wanted Mykonos to be a bit more relaxing, so we hung by the beach and pool for the afternoon and then went into Little Venice/Mykonos town for shopping, drinks & sunset. This town is ADORABLE and we absolutely loved it. You can spend a lot of time here wandering the winding streets. For dinner, we went to Kalita, which we highly recommend. Mykonos is known for the party vibe, but as we were here by ourselves, we opted for a quieter dinner and this place was perfect. If you are looking for a party, we’ve heard great things about Interni and Ling Ling.

On our second day, we woke up and had another delicious breakfast at the hotel followed by relaxing at the beach! In the late afternoon we went to Scorpios Beach Club for lunch and stayed for drinks during the sunset. They had live music and an incredible vibe. I’d definitely add this spot to your list. They also have beach chairs, so you could make this an all day activity.

On our final day, we rented ATV’s and explored the island. We spent the majority of our day at Alemagou Beach Club, a very chic, remote, and private beach. We ordered a bottle of Rose and listened to music while sunbathing. Absolutely loved this spot and highly recommend hanging out here for at least a few hours (if not the entire day!) Afterwards, we rode our ATV to a gorgeous light house, and headed into Mykonos late night for dinner.

Mykonos is known for their beach clubs, and while we didn’t get to all of them, the below also came highly recommended by friends who have been to Mykonos before.
